P0456 on a BMW: Causes, Fixes & Repair Cost
๐ข Low severity ยท drivable
Safe to keep driving โ a very small EVAP leak won't hurt the engine, but fix it before your next emissions test.
What P0456 means on a BMW
On a BMW, P0456 means the DME computer detected a very small leak in the evaporative emissions system. BMW checks for leaks with a small electric pump, so even a fuel filler cap that isn't fully clicked can set the code.
